23 goats discovered in bakkie

A Kasselman security guard said there is a possibility that the goats were stolen.

Altogether 23 goats were recently found in the back of a bakkie.

According to the AfriForum Neighbourhood Watch, two men were travelling in the vehicle.

They said the driver stopped at the Caltex filling station in Beyers Naudé Street on the way to Meyerville.

Members of the neighbourhood watch were also parked there. The bakkie parked behind them and the men got out and went to the front of the vehicle and opened the bonnet.
