Rooikoppen residents are fed up with sewage problems

The pre-school even placed a board for the toddlers to use.

Persistent sewage problems remain a major issue in different areas of Rooikoppen and residents are fed up.

Manholes get blocked often and pipes burst with sewage flowing in the streets.

The Lekwa Municipality said they hired a company to deal with the sewerage system in Rooikoppen last year, but nothing has changed.

Schools such as Shukuma Primary School and Saving Grace Pre-School have also raised concerns about sewage in the past.
