Woman wounded during robbery
The assailants made off with R70 000 cash and a cellphone.
Chrissiesmeer Police are looking for anyone with information to assist them in a case of a house robbery during which a 78-year-old woman was stabbed last Tuesday at Isidingo section in Chrissiesmeer.
Norah Madonsela was attacked by three males who broke into her house where a scuffle ensued, leaving her with facial bruises and her fingers cut while trying to hold the attackers’ knife.
The assailants made off with R70 000 cash and a cellphone. She was admitted to hospital and discharged on Thursday.
