Jabulile Makhubu paid R1 000 after admitting guilt in the Standerton Magistrate’s Court on 10 July to reckless and negligent driving.
According to the police the culprit hit a child with her vehicle while reversing.
She claimed she did not see the child, but heard the child’s grandmother screaming and stopped.
The child was admitted to the Standerton Hospital with minor injuries.
