Church hosts men’s conference

All men are invited to a men’s conference at the Apostolic Faith Mission Church in Sakhile.

The Apostolic Faith Mission is hosting a men’s conference between 31 July and 2 August.

All men in the community are invited to the conference that will be held in Sakhile.

“We are giving men a platform to engage on different issues that our communities are facing,” Mr Jabu Tshabalala, chairman of the men’s forum, said.

He also said roles that men are expected to play in homes will be discussed as well.

According to him there are many fatherless kids in communities, television programmes such as “Utatakho” are a clear indication of this.

“This is evidence that most men are not in the position that God wants them to be.”

The three day programme includes discussions on issues troubling men, challenges young men are going through and legal matters.

The registration fee is R250 per person, which includes breakfast and lunch.

Mr Tshabalala encouraged every man to attend the event.
