The Department of Correctional Services in Ermelo has released a statement warning members of the community against a job offer scam by a fraudster(s) pretending to be from the department.
Desperate civilians are tricked with bogus short messages and bogus phone calls promising them employment in exchange of R1500 fee which is against the departments policy.
Members of the public are advised against responding to these means of contact and paying anyone money for employment. Should you be faced with the situation or be contacted by any means mentioned, contact the Human Resource Manager Mr A.M Mahlangu on 017 819 7510/11
