Sasol Thistle Grove beats Chippas Best FC
Three yellow cards awarded to players.
KINROSS – It has been a good weekend for the Sasol Thistle Grove FC team that played two matches over the weekend.
They beat Chippas Best FC from Balfour 2-0 on Saturday, 11 April in Kinross.
It was a tough game and yellow cards were awarded to Thabang Maloka of Chippas, Tai Bulelani of Sasol Thistle Grove and Zwane Themba of Sasol Thistle Grove.
Fani (Segolela) Xulu scored the first goal during the first half and Thabo (Zeno) Nhlabathi scored the second goal in the second half.
David Radebe, a defender from Chippas Best FC, managed to prevent Sasol Thistle Grove FC from scoring more goals.
Chippas Best Coach said his players did their best and he was pleased with the outcome of the match.
* Sasol Thistle Grove drew 1-1 with Zone Mavo FC from eMbalenhle on Sunday, 12 March at the Evander Stadium.
Sizwe Bhembe scored the goal for Sasol Thistle Grove.
Sasol Thistle Grove FC’s coach, Mr Zacks Nhlabathi, said his team played good, though they had many chances of scoring against Zone Mavo FC.
