SECUNDA – Members of the local senior citizens’ club celebrated Easter on Wednesday, 1 April and held an Easter bonnet competition.
Ms Pat Bicknell won the first place for her Easter bonnet and Ms Ora Baker came second.
The club will meet again at 10am on 22 April in the hall at Davies Court and will have their Winter Woolies Day when all the seniors will bring something warm to the meeting which they will then hand over to the Saint Peter’s Church.
The church will use these at its House of Hope where they take care of 15 children.
