eMba Mall employees strike over tenders

Business owners order security to lock gates.

eMBALENHLE – Everything is standing still at the eMba Mall.

The gates are closed and the employees are standing outside.

This came after a group of business owners had instructed the security company not to open the gates.

Apparently they are striking because the mall management for are employing and giving tenders to people from Johannesburg and outside the Govan Mbeki municipal area.

The eMba Mall management has not yet commented.
