An emotional memorial service in honour of Mr Yandisa Marongo was held at the Thusong Centre on 27 November.
Speakers spoke highly of the deceased, saying he was a respectful and humble man.
The Sakhile Community Hall was filled to capacity.
A friend, Mr Muzomunye Cele, spoke about him and said he was more than a friend, he was a brother to him.
He could not hold back his tears when he shared fond memories.
Mr Marongo will be laid to rest in East London in the Eastern Cape on 6 December.
