Alleged murderer’s case postponed

SECUNDA – The alleged murderer of Ms Nozi Sibiya (54), Mr Kiran Ramraj, reappeared in the Secunda Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, 20 November for bail application.

Court was however adjourned for about 20 minutes, because Mr Ramraj’s lawayer had withdrawn from the case and Mr Ramraj had to seek other legal aid.

The case was postponed to 9 January 2015 and Mr Ramraj remains in custody.

eMba residents gathered outside the court during the proceedings to show their support for Ms Sibiya’s family and said Mr Ramraj should not be granted bail.
