Rumours have surfaced that Mr Yandisa Marongo was allegedly shot dead.
His decomposing body was found on the way to Pretoria.
He was the Senior Legal Manager, at Lekwa Municipality until he and Mr Orapeleng Dipone, Chief Financial Officer, were suspended for the apparent fraudulent sale of the Rooikoppen taxi rank.
Mr Marongo was to appear at his final hearing on Tuesday, 18 November, but did not show up.
