Two dogs mauled a man in Waterbok Street on 12 November and he sustained serious leg injuries.

Two dogs mauled a man in Waterbok Street on 12 November and he sustained serious leg injuries.

According to personnel of Jeria Ambulance Services, who was on the scene, the man is a contractor that works at Sasol.

He was apparently returning from a nearby café when the incident occurred.

When he noticed the dogs in the street he began running and they chased him and began to bite his legs.

A provincial ambulance was on the scene within minutes and he was transported to the Standerton Hospital.

Blood could be seen on the road and on the sidewalk where the attack took place.
