Another collision in Walter Sisulu Drive

Two cars recently crashed into each other in Walter Sisulu Drive in town.

Two vehicles were involved in a head-on collision at the corner of Walter Sisulu Drive and the R23 Road on 8 November.

The vehicles were travelling in different directions and the driver of a maroon bakkie skipped the red robot and collided with another bakkie.

According to Lt Fanie Nhlabthi, spokesman of the Standerton Police, the driver of the maroon bakkie was supposed to make way for the other vehicle.

The driver of the maroon bakkie had no passengers, while the other carried passengers.

No one was injured during the accident.

Lt Nhlabathi urged motorists to be vigilant when driving and to pay attention.

“Motorists must be patient on the roads and avoid travelling at a high speed,” he said.
