Families who lost their loved ones in an accident on the road between Standerton and Perdekop on 3 October, paid their respects at the site today.
The accident occurred when a taxi driver skipped a stop and go construction site and collided with a truck.
The MEC for Mpumalanga Community Safety, Security and Liaison, Mr Vusi Shongwe, lead the proceedings.
All families affected, mostly living in KwaZulu Natal, were transported to the scene of the accident for prayers.
It was a heartbreaking remembrance service with family members breaking into tears as songs were sung.
