SECUNDA – Mugg & Bean in the Secunda Mall is looking for Miss Mugg & Bean Secunda 2014.
According to Ms Julliet Mabe, organiser of the event, this will be the first pageant of its kind in Secunda.
“The aim is to get an ambassador for Mugg & Bean Secunda who will take part in charity work and youth upliftment programmes after winning the pageant,” said Ms Mabe.
She invited young women from Secunda, eMbalenhle, Evander, Kinross and surrounding areas to enter the pageant.
The prize package includes R1 000 cash from Mugg & Bean Secunda, Jeep clothing from Trappers Secunda, a photoshoot with Images by Tumi and a one day nail course from Fairy-Nails.
Entry forms are available at Mugg & Bean Secunda and can be handed in at Mugg & Bean Secunda on Friday, 17 October when the interviews will take place.
The closing date for entries is Friday, 17 October at 2pm.
All the contestants who take part, will also be part of a free photo shoot and will get life coaching and modelling training from Miss Varsity Cup SA, Miss Pre-Teen Queen of South Africa, as well as Miss Soweto who will be visiting Secunda on 17 and 25 October.
The pageant grand finale will be held on Saturday 25 October at 6pm.
Transport will be available after the pageant and everyone is invited to attend the grand finale free of charge.
Random vouchers will be given away at the grand finale.
