Ermelo: Employees of TOLCON GROUP spent a day at the Ermelo Activity Centre for the Disabled today where they donated groceries and cooked for the 65 disabled children and young adults.

This was part of their monthly community outreach programme encouraged by the group’s management where each month different families, people or organisations will be identified and assisted with groceries at least.

The employees’ team leader Happiness Mjiyakho informed the Highvelder that this was their first project among many to follow where they’ll identify a centres, families or schools to donate to.

Centre manager Ms Busi Shongwe was happy to receive the help and encouraged the employees with their amazing work.

Ermelo Activity Centre for the Disabled houses at least 65 disabled children and young adults and also has a home based care service where they also look after 35 critical and terminally ill people.
