Pupils from Sizwakele High School were taught the dangers and consequences of underage drinking.

eMBALENHLE – Nthateng Sikhosana, a pupil from Sizwakele High School, has been nominated as one of the contestants for the second season of You Decide Future Leaders which will air in November on SABC1.

The road show production of the South African Breweries visited the School recently.

You Decide is a programme that is educational and entertaining and that is looking at the dangers and consequences of underage and irresponsible drinking.

It makes use of an interactive industrial theatre performance that mimics recognisable social settings for teenagers and the consequences of underage drinking.

The short theatrical production also equips pupils with various techniques on how to avoid peer pressure and to make the right choices in life.

You Decide is a strategic partnership between SAB, the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA), the Department of Economic Development, Environment and Tourism, the police and each provincial Department of

Education.

The Isibaya actress Jessica Nkosi and Idols winner Musa Sukwane took part in the road show and shared words of wisdom with the community.

The show has reached 1 025 schools and 544 732 pupils since inception.
