Suspects appeared in Bethal Magistrate’s Court in connection with house breaking.

eMZINONI – Police have arrested two men for house robbery and possession of stolen property.

They were caught when the police were doing their regular patrol in the area.

W/O Sam Mnguni, acting station commissioner, said: “These criminals target houses that are not attended to and they break in a steal furniture.

“We appeal to residents to report when they are going away for a long time so that the police can patrol their homes.

“They can also ask friends or family members to look after their homes while they are away.

“However we will do anything in our power to reduce crime in the area and we ask the community to co-operate.”

The suspects appeared in the Bethal Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, 23 July and the case was postponed for further investigation.
