Residents are urged to pay municipal services using Standard Bank account.

HIGHVELD – Govan Mbeki Municipality has switched from Absa to Standard Bank with effect from 1 July.

Residents are urged to pay municipal services using any one of the following options:

Internet payment

Select Govan Mbeki Municipality on the list of pre-approved beneficiaries on your bank’s Internet banking website.

Use your 11 digit municipal account number as the payment or beneficiary reference.

Direct bank deposit

You can make a direct bank deposit at any Standard Bank branch.

The bank account number to be used for Govan Mbeki Municipality-municipal rates/services will be the company deposit code: 0024190030315.

Use your Govan Mbeki Municipality account numbers as your beneficiary reference.

Debit orders

You can pay your municipal bill via a debit order.

Visit any of the municipality customer centres with your banking details and identity document to set up your debit order payment.

ATM

You are able to pay your account at any bank’s ATM, Govan Mbeki Municipality must be loaded as a beneficiary on your bank account.

Easy Pay outlets

It is also convenient to pay your municipal account while shopping.
