Blood bank grateful for 62 units
The blood drive was a huge success with 62 people sacrificing their time to make a difference in someone’s life.
The South African National Blood Service (SANBS) Ermelo, together with Ladies Circle 15, held a blood drive on Friday.
Mandela Day was celebrated with donors giving their 67 minutes by donating blood to save a life.
Donors streamed in from 08:00 and the centre was abuzz with people wanting to give their 67 minutes throughout the day.
The blood drive was a huge success with 62 people sacrificing their time to make a difference in someone’s life.
Donors received a gift pack and there was plenty to eat and drink.
