Organisers of games weekend thank sponsors.

SECUNDA – Dimension Local Area Network (Lan), a new and upcoming Lan in town, hosted its second successful event at Highveld Park High School from 11 to 13 July.

Game players competed in Dota, League of Legends and Call of Duty.

They even came from as far as Pretoria and Ermelo.

According to Mr Manfred J Majewski who organised the event, everyone had a lot of fun and the winners were rewarded with prizes.

Green Wireless provided the Internet connection, Scooters Pizza made sure that no one was starving and Demi’s Pick ’n Pay provided cold drinks.

Computer Corporation helped game players with the setup and ensured that any hick-ups were sorted out quickly.

The prizes included A4-Tech gaming gear, Biostar earphones and XFX-War Pads.

One lucky contestant won a Gainward GT640-2GB graphics card in a raffle.

The Dimension team thanked their sponsors, fellow contestants and Highveld Park High School for a great weekend of playing games.
