Two men arrested in possession of stolen property
Police arrested two men for house breaking recently.
eMZINONI – Police arrested two men for house breaking recently.
They were apparently in possession of stolen property such as a watch with an estimated value of R5 000, grinders and other various tools.
Const Cynthia Mtsweni, spokesman for the eMzinoni Police Station thanked the policemen, W/O Sam Mnguni and Const Mike Mahlangu who made the arrest.
She said the local police will reduce the crime statistics to zero in the eMzinoni area.
The suspects appeared in the eMzinoni Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 30 June.
The local police also launched a sector crime forum which will help the police to reduce crime in the area.
Const Zakhele Kubheka has been appointed as the sector forum manager and Ms Alice Masina, Mr Ayanda Kubheka and Mr Kagiso Mogale are the elected members of the forum.
They resumed their duties by helping the police with patrols and other duties.
