Thieves break into house

Mr Nkosi received a distressed call from his brother on 11 March informing him that his house had been broken into.

SAKHILE – The Sakhile Police are investigating a case of theft at a residence where items worth R9 100 were stolen.

Mr Elias Nkosi, home owner, left his house locked on 28 January.

In the time he was away he had his brother routinely check up to see if everything was okay.

Mr Nkosi received a distressed call from his brother on 11 March informing him that his house had been broken into.

Upon his arrival he noticed that the door to the kitchen had been forced open and that several items, which include his television, two fridges, hi-fi and Dstv decoder had been stolen.

He opened a case at the station and said he did not know who was responsible for the housebreaking.

The police asked that people with any information about the incident contact them at 017 714 7149.
