Police investigate common robbery

They arrived at the scene and the bystander explained to the police where the suspects live.

SAKHILE – A man was robbed by three men at about 10.30pm on 12 April.

He was on his way home when the men, armed with knives, approached him.

His attackers searched him and stole his ID book, bank card, money and a cell phone, valued at R1 160.

After they fled the scene, a man who saw the incident, offered his assistance to the victim and contacted the police.

They arrived on the scene and the bystander explained to the police where the suspects live.

They went to the house, but the suspects were not there.

The complainant said that he does not know the suspects, but that he could identify them if he saw them again.

Police are investigating a case of common robbery.

No suspects have been arrested yet.
