SECUNDA – A man appeared in the Secunda Magistrate’s Court after shooting at the well known sports commentator Baba Mthethwa at his house on 7 December.
According to Lt Bettina Zondo, spokesman for Secunda Police Station, Mthethwa went outside his house when he heard gun shots.
When he investigated he discovered that his vehicle was damaged and shots were fired into his garage door.
He saw an unknown man with a firearm standing at the gate and he contacted the police.
The police quickly responded and arrested the man who appeared in court on 11 December.
He was granted bail of R3 000.
