Parents of abandoned children sought

The Department of Social Development Gert Sibande/Msukaligwa sub-district office is requesting anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of any family members of the following abandoned children to come forward.

The first case involves a female child who is estimated to be six years old. The child lived in Ermelo with her late biological mother, Ms Gugulethu Nozipho Manzini. It is believed Ms Tembane Rose Mahungela may be a family member.

The second case involves an abandoned female child of about eight years of age who lived with her late biological mother, Ms Florence Delisile Mabuza who arrived in Ermelo in November 2003. It is believed Simphiwe Gertrude Dube and Nosesi Dube of Ermelo may be family members.

In the third instance, the father or relatives of two abandoned children are being sought. The children aged between eight and 11 years respectively also lived their biological mother, Ms Florence Delisile Mabuza.

Mr Sipho Sibande who worked as a carpenter in Witbank is believed to be the father of the children.

Anyone who can help in tracing the relatives of these children is asked to phone the social worker Ms V.P. Khaba at 017 811 6446 during office hours or 073 203 8204.
