Members of CrossFit IRA in Ermelo took part in The Battle competition that was held at Silver Star Casino in Krugersdorp from 9 to 11 August.
It is a three-day CrossFit event that provided athletes with a platform to showcase their fitness and skills.
About 10 teams from Ermelo entered into different divisions with one woman and three teenagers that competed individually in the teen division.
Team “Buns and Roses” went through to the finals in the female teams intermediate division.
Reinhardt Janse van Rensburg and Huntley Cooper finished second and eighth in the teens 0/17 boys division, respectively.
CrossFit is designed for anyone, no matter their fitness level, making it the perfect application for any committed individual.
