The South-African Footbakk Assosiation in Msukaligwa region held a soccer tournament at the KwaChibikhulu Stadium in Chrissiesmeer, to included other teams around the region to participate in tournaments.
The organisers chose Chrissiesmeer as a venue to bring the sport to surrounding towns.
A total of 10 teams participated in the tournament, five teams from Chrissiesmeer, three from Ermelo and two from Breyten.
However, the teams from Chrissiesmeer enjoyed homeground advantage and two of them featured in the final to make it a mouthwatering derby for local fans.
