The Gert Sibande District Municipality also helped to make the airshow a reality.

Radio controlled airplanes will also present a show during the course of the morning.

An appetiser for what is to come will be the Magni M16 Gyro copter that will do a show at 11am. According to the organisers all the best flying teams in South Africa will be in action at the show.

The Flying Lions with their Harvards, the Tailifts and the Goodyear Eagles with their Pitt Specials, and the Team Extreme with their Extras will entertain visitors to the show.

Although the entertainment begins early, the airshow will only be officially opened by the Gert Sibande District mayor at 1.30pm.

The Harley Davidsons will form part of the opening ceremony.

The number of food stalls was increased to give visitors a wider choice of food to choose from and the beer garden will also be bigger with more sitting space. Visitors are urged not to bring their own liquor onto the premises and are also requested not to sit in the parking area and watch the show, but to rather buy a ticket and support the airshow.
