GALLERY – ‘Artisanal miners’ in Ermelo chip away at coal with pickaxes for hours

Mr Zethu Hlatshwayo, the national spokesman for NAAM, said the miners within NAAM have formalised themselves and are working with government to decriminalise and licence small-scale mining.
