A young boy, geared with an umbrella and gumboots, is not fazed by the rain.

The asphalt was decorated with silver puddles after a whole day of blessings from the clouds in Standerton and Sakhile on 8 January.

This however, did not hamper residents from going about their business, as the CBD was still a flurry of activity, the only difference perhaps, a much faster tempo.
