Second annual Build a Woman event hosted by Forgiveness Mokalapa

Ms Forgiveness Mokalapa will be hosting the second annual Build a Woman event on Saturday, 21 October from 1pm at the House of Praise Tabernacle Church.

The event gives a platform for young women to empower one another.

The speakers are women from various career fields with different personal experiences, life journeys and success stories.

Ms Mokalapa said the purpose is to reunite women and create a platform for them to motivate one another, to share love and to remind one another of their greatness, strength and power.

“The goal is to have more self-aware young women who are in love with themselves and are strong and peaceful within because that is where it all begins.

“We want to see the world filled with more young women who understand that other women are neither threats nor competition, but are sisters and fellow queens who need support from a fellow queen.

“I believe our community needs more events like these.

“We are very excited this year to have the speakers we have, among them Mona Monyane.

“She is known as Nthabeleng from Muvhango and Comrade Eve on Kalushi.”

The event begins at 1pm and ends at 5pm.

The theme is white with a touch of pink.

Entrance fee is R100 which includes food and refreshments.

Those wishing to attend the event, must book their seats by depositing R100 into the following bank account and use their names and surnames as reference: Account number 62513786452, FM Mokalapa, FNB.
