Karabo Mokoena’s suspected murderer, Sandile Mantsoe, grew up in eMbalenhle, went to school in Secunda
After a photo of Sandile was circulating on social media, people from around Secunda came out in shock and admitted to knowing him.

The alleged murderer and boyfriend of Karabo Mokoena, Mr Sandile Mantsoe, grew up in eMbalenhle and attended school in Secunda.
The murder of Karabo is currently trending on social media with the hashtags #MenAreTrash #KaraboMokoena #AllLivesMatter #SandileMantsoe.
Karabo went missing last month and her family launched a social media campaign to find her.
She unfortunately turned up dead and it is alleged that her boyfriend murdered her and burned her body, but further details have not yet been confirmed.
According to reports, Mr Mantsoe was arrested and was be charged with murder.
He appeared in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court on 12 May.
Some of the media outlets are requesting to film Mr Mantsoe’s trial.

After a photo of him was circulating on social media, shocked Secunda residents admitted to know him.
A source close to the newspaper confirmed she attended school with him at Highveld Park High School where he matriculated in 2007.
“He was dedicated to his studies and kept to himself.”
The tweet that Mr Tshepo Mokoena, Karabo’s father, shared got an amazing response with 119 retweets and 69 likes.
He also tweeted: “The boyfriend confession. He killed and burned my daughter.”
