Motorists urged to avoid the road between Secunda and Evander

"We are sick and tired of the exploitation. The time has come for the institution to be closed. They are undermining poor blacks."

UPDATE:

SECUNDA –  The students of the Mshiniwami Training Academy are protesting about, what they call, the exploitation by the institution.
They said since the academy was established, no one has qualified.
Mr Oscar Mohlahlulo, spokesman, said Premier David Mabuza announced during the SOPA that the first intake was ready for placement, but since then nothing has been done.
He said they went to the Premier’s office but the administrators ware rude to them.

“We are sick and tired of the exploitation. The time has come for the institution to be closed.  They are undermining poor blacks.”

They said the institution is not taking the interests of the youth at heart.

A community member said that they will mobilise again on Monday, 13 February.

The road is currently open.
