eMba residents angered by minister’s no show

Meeting was cancelled.

eMBALENHLE – Drama unfolded as the Minister of Public Service and Administration, Adv Ngoako Ramatlohodi, did not show up for the meeting with the community.

He was expected to interact with local residents as part of Bathi Pele – Putting People First Programme.

Residents were angered by the absence of the minister.

His office told the residents that the minister is sick, though an hour ago they said he was at Evander Hospital doing a suprise visit.

The youth attending wanted question the issue of procurement.

They wanted to know where the companies given work are coming from.

The meeting was called off.
