eMBALENHLE – Police recovered a vehicle two hours after it was hijacked in Extension 11 recently.
The 57-year-old victim came from work when his Toyota Avanza was hijacked at his home.
He was parking his company car when four men, one armed with a firearm, knocked on the car window.
When the man opened the window, he was forced by the armed hijacker to the back of his car.
The hijackers drove off and later threw him out of the moving vehicle.
He reported the hijacking to the police who began searching for the vehicle.
It was later recovered with the assistance of Tracker next to a graveyard.
The hijackers stole the car keys and the battery.
