Laerskool Trichardt archers are tops at Archery National Championship

Jana Posthumus-Meyjes received first place in South Africa during the Inter-Provincial Championship (IPC) in the primary school girls' division with a score of 285.

Laerskool Trichardt archers shined at the Archery National Championships held in Kimberly from September 25 to 28.

Of 16 archers representing Mpumalanga primary schools, nine were Laerskool Trichardt learners.

The Mpumalanga primary school team ended second in South Africa.

Jana Posthumus-Meyjes received first place in South Africa during the Inter-Provincial Championship (IPC) in the primary school girls’ division with a score of 285.

The grade winners in the Inter-Schools Championship (ISC) competition are first place Tahlia Reynders (Grade Four girls), Reinhardt Reynders in third (Grade Five boys) and first Jana Posthumus-Meyjes (Grade Seven girls).

During the ISC Bullseye competition, Jana Posthumus-Meyjes shot 290, securing a first place among all the primary school girls in South Africa and first overall of the boys and girls together in the country.
