Evander learners compete in Op die Planke Play Festival
The learners will head to Kempton Park in October to perform Embrace and Ragel for the Op die Planke Play Festival finals.
The Evander High School dramatics learners competed in the Op die Planke Play Festival hosted at the school on August 1.
Teacher Marius Wentzel wrote and directed both plays, Embrace and Ragel. Learners showed enthusiasm and resilience and demonstrated talent and tenacity.
The Op die Planke judges complimented the dramatic learners, and both plays received an A+.
The plays were accepted to the finals in Kempton Park in October.
