Motorcyclist dies in accident in Secunda

Members of the Secunda Guardian Motorcycle Club held a memorial service for their late member Aphumelele Matolo (25) on July 18, at eMbalenhle Kgotso Hall.
Matolo died on July 13 after she was involved in an accident while on her way home from an event of the Crusaders Motorcycle Club that was held at the Umuzi Lodge.
She collided with another vehicle near the Sasol Filling Station opposite Secunda Mall.
Emergency services were on the scene, and Matolo was taken to Evander Hospital where she died.
Matolo left behind her three-year-old daughter. Constable Busi Mthethwa, eMbalenhle police spokesperson, said the Secunda police are investigating a culpable homicide case.
