Bronkhorstspruit’s 194th parkrun was a success
The parkrun which was held at the Bronkhorstspruit dam was enjoyed by young and old.
Bronkhorstspruit hosted its 194th parkrun on July 13 at Bronkhorstspruit Dam. The number of people who participated was 42.
The first to finish was Sue-Marie Oosthuysen with her personal best time of 24:10, followed by Cornelia Geyser (26:39), Regardt Swanepoel (27:29), James Meakings (27:47) PB, Broekies van Broekhuizen (32:28), Petro Jordaan (33:20), Rikus Greeff (34:37), Len Rossi Marx (36:58), Amisha Rampersadh (37:54) and in 10th place was Xander Greeff with a time of 38:26.
The volunteers who made this parkrun possible, were André de Lange, Moonilal Dunmun, Gerda Eloff, Cornel Kotze, Erhard Kruger, Amisha Rampersadh, Bhavna Rampersadh, Despina Rockas, Filia Rockas, Marthinus Scheepers, Casper Strydom and Magriet van Broekhuizen.
The next parkrun will be on July 20 at the Bronkhorstspruit Dam. People are encouraged to become active by running, jogging, walking and volunteering in the parkrun.
Taking part is easy – a person registers online before your first parkrun, and when registered, you can participate in the parkrun weekly.
Participants every week, grab a post-parkrun coffee at Bronkiesbaai Restaurant or Art Café @ Anton Smit.
