eMbalenhle police find bodies of three Lesotho nationals

It is suspected that all three were killed on the same day.

Police in eMbalenhle are investigating the murder of three Lesotho nationals whose bodies were found in different places in eMbalenhle .

According to Constable Busi Mthethwa, eMbalenhle police spokesperson, police received information about a body at Ext 10 in Marikana informal settlement on July 4.

The dead man had injuries to his head, face, mouth, nose and eyes. He was identified as a Lesotho national.

A second body was found next to the Bracken Road with bullet wounds in his chest and waist on July 7. The man was allegedly killed earlier in the week.

According to Mthethwa, three men allegedly attacked and shot the victim as he was crossing the road close to Megabus.

Mthethwa said the third body was found floating in the water in the canal near Megabus on July 8, after the K9 Unit was summoned to assist in a search.

This man also sustained head and face injuries. The police are appealing to the community for help.
