Mini League netball players battle it out at Secunda Action Sports arena

The Secunda Action Sports Arena was abuzz with Mini League netball matches on February 27.

Galaxy Girls played against Orange Blossoms, winning the match 26-4. Team Fire Ballz battled it out against Standerton’s Shooting Starts and lost 22-13.

Secunda Shots played against the IPT U13 and lost 29-12. Dynamite took on Standerton’s High Hoops and won 24-6.

Pink Magic beat Sparkle Poppies 33-4. Standerton’s Shooting Starts beat Secunda’s Jumping Jills 31-16.

Double Trouble lost 22-4 to Standerton’s Fireflies. The Jumping Jills were beaten 38-12 by IPT U13. High Hoops lost 18-12 to Fireflies.

The U13 and U14 netball teams will compete in Meyersdal, Johannesburg, from March 14 to 20 in the Action Sports IPT tour.

The U17s will also compete in the Action Sports ITP, also in Meyersdal, from March 20 to 29. The senior A and B teams will head to Montagu in the Western Cape also for the IPT tour from May 6 to 11.

The Mini Netball finals will be on March 12, 13 and 14, and the mini-hockey and mini-cricket finals on March 15.

The senior cricket finals will be on March 23, with the senior netball finals on April 6.

Registration for the mini-league cricket, netball, and hockey Autumn League season closes on March 26.

Registration for the senior league cricket, netball, and hockey for men, women, and mixed Autumn League season closes March 20.
