Models from Standerton to enter two pageants

Both models are aiming to enter the Miss SA competition.

Caron Tfwala has been given a leadership opportunity to manage two models from Standerton. Tfwala will assist them with their pageant journey.

The Standerton Advertiser met Zamangwe Zwane and Zamokuhle Mpila on February 8. Zwane is a BEd final year student, studying through Unisa and taking part in the Miss Inspire SA Women 2023/24 at the Lakeside Mall, Benoni on March 23.

Mpila is a first-year student at the University of Johannesburg and taking part in the Miss Teen Remarkable SA, which was held at the Civic Theatre in eMalahleni (Witbank) the past weekend. According to Tfwala, one of their tasks is media engagement and outreach.

“I advocate for the education of learners, as most of them do not get quality education.” Zwane said.

She will give an introduction speech and will take along three outfits. Zwane was a learner at Khunjuliwe Secondary School and Hlobisa Primary School. Mpila is studying social work at UJ and is passionate about community work.

“The pageant empowers one with skills in leadership roles,” she said.

She will also give an introduction speech and take three outfits. Mpila was a learner at Jandrell Secondary School and Hlobisa Primary School.
