Robbers murder Bronkhorstspruit businesswoman
Streeknuus confirmed with the Bronkhorstspruit Police that this robbery was the fourth of its kind in the past 14 days in Bronkhorstspruit.
The business community’s flag in Bronkhorstspruit is hanging half-mast after the brutal murder of a business owner in the town.
The owner of Van’s Pawnshop in Bronkhorstspruit, Susan van Rensburg, was shot and killed yesterday, July 11.
Van Rensburg was apparently the victim of an armed business robbery.
According to information, the robbers only took laptops that were inside the store.
Streeknuus confirmed with the Bronkhorstspruit Police that this robbery was the fourth of its kind in the past 14 days in Bronkhorstspruit.
In one of the other events, a customer was wounded.
The Bronkhorstspruit Police is asking for the assistance of members of the public who have any information about the murder of Van Rensburg to please contact the station on 013 932 9222.
“We would like to send our heartfelt condolences to Van Rensburg’s family and wish them support and healing as well as justice for the difficult times that lie ahead,” said the business community in a statement released on July 11.
