Body of young woman found in field in eMbalenhle
The woman was identified by her family as Angel Shabalala.
The eMbalenhle police has opened an inquest docket after the body of a 19 year-old woman was found in an open field in Ext 16, eMbalenhle earlier this month.
According to Constable Busi Mthethwa, the eMbalenhle police spokesperson, there are no visible injuries. Investigations continue.
The woman was identified by her family as Angel Shabalala. The reason behind her death is not known.
Mthethwa said the inquest might change to murder.
