Golfers compete in Evander at Round Table’s fundraiser for Juan Venter
Players competed in a fundraiser hosted by the Secunda Round Table 231 at the Walker Park Golf Club, for Juan Venter (2) who was diagnosed with mucopolysaccharidosis type one (MPS1).
Golfers took to the Walker Park Golf Club on Saturday, May 20, to play in the Secunda Round Table’s fundraiser for Juan Venter (2) who is diagnosed with mucopolysaccharidosis type one (MPS1).
He underwent a bone marrow transplant on March 30. All money raised will go towards medical expenses not covered by his medical aid.
The winning team was Albert Biddlecome, Marko Swanepoel, Stephen Swanepoel, and Sam van der Watt.
Taking the second spot were Cherise Stapelberg, Tiaan Burger, Jaco Joubert, and Stanley Dodd.
Third place was Henco Botha, Paul Botha, Ivan Mare, and Lawrence Hibbert.
