Evander police seek assistance in identifying deceased man

Police are urgently seeking assistance in identifying an unknown deceased African man who was struck by a truck on the R546 road on August 23 of last year at around 15:00.

A culpable homicide case has been opened. On the day the deceased was found, he wore a black jersey, blue shirt, black jacket, blue overall trousers and black boots. He is said to be 1.70m tall.

Police are requesting assistance so that burial arrangements can be made.
