Bronkhorstspruit parkrun equals fun in the sun

Bronkhorstspruit parkrun is free, fun, and friendly.

Thirty-seven people took part in the Bronkhorstspruit parkrun on January 14.

Some ran, some jogged, and others walked the 5km route.

The first 10 people to finish were JP Bekker (23:52), Dano Kruger (26:18), Braam Kruger (27:15), Harry van der Merwe (27:34), Dane Coetzee (31:45), Anne-Marie Coetzee (31:46), Prince Dumisani Khumalo (33:09), Pieter du Venage (34:13), Almay Cornelissen (36:02) and Lourens Cornelissen (36:03).

This week’s volunteers were André de Lange, Casper Strydom, Cornel Kotze, Despina Rockas, Frienie Opperman, Filia Rockas, and Mahlatse Maphake.

The parkrun takes place every Saturday at 08:00. The 5km track can be walked, run, jogged, or you can just watch the participants.

This event is free and only possible with the help of volunteers.

It is not a competition, as you compete only against yourself, which keeps the event fun and rewarding.
