Standerton Police follow up after attempted burglary

Kasselman Security Services (KSS) received information on January 5 about an attempted burglary in Kerk Street.

According to KSS, an alarm signal was received and upon investigation, a suspect was spotted on the roof.

The aircons were damaged and stripped. The suspect jumped from the roof and fled towards the taxi rank.

Police said a hat found on the premises will be sent for DNA analysis.
